15) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low quote received for caustic soda for use by the Electric Production department.

16) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to renew the existing contract for overhead electric construction unit pricing for the Electric Distribution department.

17) Introduction of an ordinance revoking 54.0’ of a 15’ wide drainage servitude located adjacent to Lot 149 of Briarwood Subdivision and McAdams ditch in tract of land now or formerly owned by Terry’s Secure Storage.

18) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing acceptance of the subdivision plat for Bocage Subdivision, Phase IV, Lots 179-202.

19) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing annexation of 4.98 acres located in Section 86, and being located adjacent to Bocage Subdivision, Phase 3.

20) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing rezoning of property located at 620 Wheelock from “SF-2” Single family moderate density district to “SF-3” Single-family high density.

21) Introduction of an ordinance rezoning property at or near the 2400 block of Jackson Street from “SF-2” moderate density to “SF-2/OO Single-family moderate density office overlay zoning district. (ZONING COMMISSION DENIED & THE ADMINISTRATION OPPOSES THIS ITEM)

22) RESOLUTION setting a public hearing to be held January 15, 2008 for the condemnation of 23 structures.

23) RESOLUTION authorizing advertisement for bids for pile feed paper folder to be used by the Printing department.

24) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for the purchase of six police motorcycles with trade-in for the Alexandria Police department.

25) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for one minivan for the Lab Testing department.

26) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the establishment of a 50’ wide temporary construction servitude in Lot 6 of Square 1 of the subdivision of Lots 11, 12, 14, 15 and part of Lots D and E of Lot 13 of Willow Glen Plantation.

27) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing acceptance of a 12.50’ drainage servitude located in Lot B of Acadian Gardens Subdivision on property owned by LHB Investments, LLC.

28) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to Culpepper Road drainage improvements (Llewelyn Drive towards Sterkx Road) for additional work to complete this project.

29) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept quote received for hand held equipment for a twelve month period.

30) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept donation from the Humane Society of the United States to further the mission of After Katrina: Improving the Lives of Gulf Coast Dogs and Cats.

31) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a grant agreement with The Shepherd Center of Central Louisiana, Inc. for the operation of a homeless emergency shelter and a homeless prevention program.

32) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to purchase one dual broom vacuum street sweeper with Covington Environmental Company to piggyback off the City of Bossier City’s bid proposal #S13-07 in accordance with LA R.S. 39:1701-1709.

18) To consider final adoption of an ordinance annexing Lots 5, 6 and 7 of Bayou Acres Subdivision located in Section 28, T4N, R1W and being located at 33 & 37 Calvert Drive as requested by Dr. John Rhodes and zoning said property to “C-1” General Commercial district upon annexation.

19) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing acceptance of a 15’ wide utility servitude situated in Calhoun Commercial Park.

20) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing acceptance of a 15’ wide utility servitude situated in Section 19, T4N, R1W of England Drive Subdivision.

21) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an engineering agreement with TRC Engineers for Robin Road and Azalea Lane sewer improvement project. (A & E RECOMMENDED 11/6)

22) To consider final adoption of an ordinance amending 2007/2008 Capital Budget to fund the purchase of property located off Bolton Avenue for the purpose of a multi-use Alexandria Bus and Transportation Facility.

23) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Charles Cooper to purchase property located off Bolton Avenue for the purpose of a multi-use Alexandria Bus and Transportation Facility.

24) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract of receipt & release with the Alexandria Port Authority.

25) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to grant an easement through and across the Levee land upon which the eight pipelines connecting the Port Authority and Petron tank farm currently exist and to enter into an assignment.
