3) Introduction of an ordinance for one 37’ material handler bucket truck for the Electric

Distribution department. Bids to be opened 7/31.

4) Introduction of an ordinance for one 55’ material handler bucket truck for the Electric

Distribution department. Bids to be opened 7/31.

5) Introduction of an ordinance for two vertical non-clog dry pit sewage pumps for the

Wastewater department. Bids to be opened 7/31.

6) Introduction of an ordinance for taser electronic control devices & accessories. Bids to be

7) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the lowest quote received for

hot mix for a six month period for use by various city departments.

11) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing Change Order No. 3 for water well improvements for

water well rehabilitation for seven well sites.

12) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Cooperative Endeavor

Agreement with the State of Louisiana, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, Office of

State Parks for the City to receive a state appropriation of funds to benefit the Alexandria

Zoo.

13) Introduction of an ordinance rezoning 2915 Levin Street at the corner of Kent Avenue from

“SF-2” Single Family moderate density to “MF-1” Multi-family low density district, as requested

by the property owner to permit restoration of a duplex.

14) Introduction of an ordinance rezoning 3310 7th Street from “SF-2” Single family moderate

density to “SF-2/MHO” Single family moderate density/Mobile Home overlay zoning district, as

requested by the property owner to replace a frame house with a manufactured home.

15) RESOLUTION authorizing a special exception for a Class “A” high and low alcohol content

permit for use or consumption on the licensed premise at 90 Harold Miles Road.

16) RESOLUTION providing for canvassing the returns and declaring the results of the special

election held in the City of Alexandria on Saturday, July 21, 2007, and to authorize the

continuation of a millage and the continuation and rededication of a sales tax therein.

17) RESOLUTION authorizing the City of Alexandria’s Water and Wastewater departments to accept,

maintain and operate the proposed water and sanitary sewer improvements for England Drive

Subdivision.

18) RESOLUTION authorizing advertisement for bids for cast/ductile iron & related accessories

for a six month period.

19) RESOLUTION authorizing advertisement for bids for the construction of the wastewater

improvements for Versailles Extension project.

F. ORDINANCES FOR FINAL ADOPTION
SUBJECT TO PUBLIC HEARING

20) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid

submitted for electric generator improvements at Kisatchie water well field.

21) To consider final adoption of an ordinance for authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid

submitted for three phase padmount transformers for inventory stock.

22) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid

submitted for treated wood poles for the Electric Distribution department.

23) To consider final adoption of an ordinance amending the 2007/2008 Capital Budget to provide

for designation of Phase I of South Cloverleaf Boulevard.

24) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing acceptance of a subdivision plat for

resubdivision of Lot 155 of Tennyson Oaks Subdivision, Phase 7B.

25) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing acceptance of a subdivision plat for

Tennyson Oaks Subdivision, Phase 7-B revised.

26) To consider final adoption of an ordinance to reduce the right-of-way and street widths for

a commercial street in the Lake District.

27) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to

Wooddale Housing drainage improvements.

28) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing Engineering Amendment #1 to Meyer,

Meyer, LaCroix & Hixson for Jones Avenue asphalt overlay from Broadway Avenue to Willow Glen

River Road.

29) To consider final adoption of an ordinance to authorize the Mayor to enter into and accept

Acts of Sale and Transfer and a certain sewer servitude agreement between the City and certain

property owners (Weil Company and also Camille Daspit Lacy, Renee Daspit Knapp Gremillion,

George R. Pias and Marilyn Quantz Merritt) for two separate tracts of property, including

servitudes, associated therewith, in the Versailles Boulevard corridor and to provide for

related matters.

30) To consider final adoption of an ordinance to authorize the Mayor to enter into a

Professional Services Agreement for architectural and related services for the Third Street

project (including Main Street) from St. James Street to Broadway Boulevard with M3A Architects,

PLLS (William A. McElroy, AIA, Architect) and to provide for funding and related matters

pertaining thereto.

31) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an

Intergovernmental Agreement with the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office for the continuation of the

Metro Narcotics Task Force.

32) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to renew a Maintenance

Agreement between the City of Alexandria and State of Louisiana Department of Transportation &

Development for mowing, litter and trash collection.

Intergovernmental Agreement with Alexandria/Pineville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau to
